Subject: simple string compression, anyone?

Does anyone have Icon procedures that compress and decompress strings?
Richard Goerwitz contributed a Huffman program to the Icon Program Library
that might be adaptable for my purpose, but perhaps there are some other
routines out there that would make good library procedures. I grepped
around in the Icon Program Library and didn't see anything else.
Cheers,
